Capacity Building

CERM-ESA’s Capacity Building Programme includes international workshops, seminars and short learning programmes to support academic and administrative staff of our partnering education (management) faculties. As such, it is a core pillar of CERM-ESA’s agenda to advance innovative, contextualised and decolonising research and teaching approaches to educational challenges in our partner countries. Based on exchange, needs assessments and contributions by all partners, CERM-ESA has developed capacity building modules (offered in face-to-face / blended / online modes) that include, among others:

  • Strengthening research supervision
  • Arts-based and performative education research methodologies
  • University pedagogy and adult education
  • Developing coherence in research
  • Publishing your research
  • Research management and proposal writing
