CERM-ESA’s Capacity Building Programme includes international workshops, seminars and short learning programmes to support academic and administrative staff of our partnering education (management) faculties. As such, it is a core pillar of CERM-ESA’s agenda to advance innovative, contextualised and decolonising research and teaching approaches to educational challenges in our partner countries. Based on exchange, needs assessments and contributions by all partners, CERM-ESA has developed capacity building modules (offered in face-to-face / blended / online modes) that include, among others:
- Strengthening research supervision
- Arts-based and performative education research methodologies
- University pedagogy and adult education
- Developing coherence in research
- Publishing your research
- Research management and proposal writing
