In order to link theory to practice, engage with school principals and teachers and transfer the knowledge gained back to the communities where the data for our research projects were generated, CERM-ESA organises annual teacher professional development activities.
More than 100 teachers and school principals participate in the Centre’s ‘Teachers’ In-Service Training Days’ each year at the Centre in Eldoret. Furthermore, an Early Childhood Development Programme has been developed for pre-primary and primary school teachers and offered in conjunction with the County governments in a three-phase-mode.
